'Realismo' was released on the London-based label Surface To Air. This album was a collaboration between Pablo's Eye and Vaughan Oliver's design team V23 (Chris Bigg and Tim Vary) in a joint contribution towards a new 'internationalism'.
The ideas was to create a limited edition artwork using 9 different covers to represent the 9 letters of Pablo’s Eye. Each cover was a handmade design screenprinted onto pages of atlases published in the 1950’s. Because of the nature of the design, each copy of this mini album was unique. However, a digipack version was also available.
This album consists of 7 atmospheric instrumentals, based on loops and improvisations which were then heavily processed in the studio. The result is a spiritual disarming peace of work, the trademark sound of Pablo's Eye.

'The album is a beguiling antidote to the turgid dramas of everyday life.'
Louise Gray, The Wire
'Elegant and thoroughly engaging.'
Simon Hopkins, Sonomu.net
'To put a disc by Pablo’s Eye is to embark on an excursion through some fifth world, where understatement is the vehicle for profound adventures in listening.'
